1907 – भारत के स्वतंत्रता संग्राम से संबंधित डकैती की पहली घटना चिंगरीपोटा रेलवे स्टेशन पर हुई।
1917 – फिनलैंड ने रुस से स्वतंत्रता की घोषणा की।
1926 – फ़िराक़ गोरखपुरी अपने साहित्यिक जीवन के आरंभिक समय में ब्रिटिश सरकार के राजनीतिक बंदी बनाए गए थे।
1946 – हाेमगार्ड संगठन की स्थापना की गई।
1978 – यूरोपीय देश स्पेन में संविधान को अंगीकार किया गया।
1983 – इजरायल की राजधानी यरुशलम में एक बस धमाके में छह नागरिकों की मौत।
1990 – युद्ध टालने के प्रयासों के तहत इराक के राष्ट्रपति सद्दाम हुसैन ने इराक और कुवैत में बंधक बनाये गये सभी विदेशी बंधकों की रिहाई का आदेश दिया।
