## Launched by Govt of India(PM) for producing good teachers in large numbers.
## Launched on 25th Dec(Good Governance Day) and Birth Anniversary of Madam Mohan Malviya and Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
## Training after Schooling:
PM advocated introduction of a five-year training course after schooling for those aspiring to pursue a career in teaching and said the country should aim to export top-class teachers across the world.An option for those who aspire to become teachers after 10th or 12th and can be trained in this area.
## Mission was launched in the name of BHU( Banaras Hindu University) founder and Bharat Ratna awardee Madan Mohan Malaviya for teachers’ training at Varanasi.
##Kashi “Shiksha Ki Sanskriti” (a culture of education):
Speaking on the occasion, the Prime Minister described the land of Kashi, as one which gave us “Shiksha Ki Sanskriti” (a culture of education).
