आप modals के बारे में इतना तो जानते ही होंगे कि ये situation और manners पर depend करता है। मगर फिर भी हम कुछ अंतर करके समझाने का प्रयास करते हैं।
You know that Modals depend on situations and manners but We are trying to teach the difference between them.
1st Situation:
Possibility:- Can>May>Might
Can is used for strong possibility.
Anyone can make mistakes.
May is used for less possibility.
It may rain today.
आकाश में काले बादल छाये हैं इसलिए ये कह सकते हैं।
we can say it if there are a lot of clouds in the sky.
Might is used for least possibility.
It might rain today.
Might is used because there is few clouds in the sky.
हमें लगता है कि बारिश होने की सम्भावना बहुत कम है क्योंकि बादल बहुत कम हैं।

2nd Situation:
Request:
Would- Polite Request (विनम्र प्रार्थना)
Would you open the door please ?
May- Request with respect (आदरसहित प्रार्थना)
May I come in Sir ?
Can- Friendly request (मित्रवत प्रार्थना – जो दोस्तों से करते हैं )
Can I take your pen ?
Could- Formal request (औपचारिक प्रार्थना – जो आप किसी अंजान व्यक्ति या परिचित से कर सकते हैं जिस पर हम ज्यादा भरोसा नही कर सकते कि वो ये काम करेगा।
Could I talk to General Manager ?

Subject + Modals + Verb + Object/Other.
Note: May + wish/prayer + other !
Use of Need आवश्यकता / Dare साहस या हिम्मत
दोनों negative या interrogative sense में प्रयोग होंगे।
Both are used in negative and interrogative sense only.
E.g.
You need not stay here.
Need he go there ?
He dare not abuse me.
How dare you ?
अगर possitive में हैं तो main verb होगी जो किसी भी फॉर्म में हो सकती है।
