1)Impregnable (verb)  ( अभेद्य): im-preg-nuh-bull
Meaning – not able to be defeated or demolished or overcome,
Synonyms-:  unassailable, unbeatable, unshakeable, invincible
Antonyms – conquerable, breakable, vulnerable
Example –  Despite our squad’s best efforts, we could not win the game against the impregnableteam.

2)Impugn (noun) ( चुनौती देना .बहस करना):  im-pu-gand
Meaning –   to attack as false or questionable, dispute the truth, validity, or honesty of (a statement or motive); call into question.
Synonyms –   challenge, question, dispute, query
Antonyms – accept, support, advocate
Example –  An atheist is quick to impugn the concept of a higher power.

3)Disastrous (adjective) (विनाशकारी) : dis-as-trous
Meaning –   causing great damage, catastrophic;
Synonyms – devastating, calamitous, cataclysmic, tragic
Antonyms – fortunate, blessed , auspicious
Example – Half the city was destroyed by a disastrous fire.

4)Pervasive (verb)  (व्यापक):  per-vey-siv
Meaning –  capable of affecting or influencing everything, (especially of an unwelcome influence or physical effect) spreading widely throughout an area or a group of people.
Synonyms-:  prevalent, penetrating, pervading, permeating
Antonyms – limited, narrow, controlled
Example – – Voters are concerned about thepervasive rate of unemployment that is harming both the rich and the poor.

5) Deterrent (verb)  (प्रतिबंधक) – de-ter-rent
Meaning – a thing that discourages someone from doing something
Synonyms –    disincentive, discouragement, dissuasion, damper, brake
Antonyms – incentive, catalyst, encouragement
Example -CCTV cameras are a major deterrentto crime.

6) Hubris (noun)(अभिमान) – hu-bris
Meaning –  an excess of confidence; having too much pride and personal worth
Synonyms-: pride, arrogance, insolence
Antonyms -humility,, humbleness, modesty
Example – The self-assured hubris among economists was shaken in the late 1980s when the recession arrived.

7)Breach (phrasal verb)  (उल्लंघन) – breech
Meaning – a violation of an agreement, law, or code of ethics or conduct
Synonyms-  contravention, violation, breaking,  infringement
Antonyms – obedience, abidance
Example – After the officer’s breach of conduct was discovered, he was dishonourably discharged from the military.

8)Diligent (verb)  (मेहनती) – dil-i-jent
Meaning – careful in carrying out tasks and duties, having or showing care and conscientiousness in one’s work or duties.
Synonyms-  industrious, hard-working, assiduous
Antonyms – lazy, negligent, inactive
Example – You have to be a diligent student and need to go above and beyond to earn your dream career.

9)Bedrock (verb)  (आधार) –   bed-rok
Meaning – the fundamental principles on which something is based.
Synonyms-   core, basis, base, foundation, root
Example –  Honesty is the bedrock of a good relationship.
