1)Imbroglio (noun) (उलझन): Im-bro-ligo
Meaning – a confusing situation
Synonyms – confused/complicated situation; difficulty/predicament.
Antonyms – clear, simple
Example – The treaty of the state ended imbrogliothat has kept the two countries at war for over sixty years.

2)Detonate (verb)  (धड़ाका करना): dey-to-nate
Meaning – to ignite or blow up
Synonyms – explode, set off, blow up.
Antonyms –   Defuse , diusmantle
Example – People fear that if a country decides todetonate a nuclear bomb, then it will kill its citizens instantly.

3)Scathing (adjective)  (तीखा ) – sca-thing
Meaning – extremely severe or harsh
Synonyms – devastating, withering, harsh/severe.
Antonyms – gentle , mild
Example – The scathing criticism did not inspire the student to improve his writing skills.

4)Expulsion (noun)  (निष्कासन करना) – ex-pul-shun
Meaning – a circumstance in which an individual or thing is ejected from a position, place, or group
Synonyms – removal, expelling, banishment/exile.
Antonyms – welcoming , recruitment
Example – When the coach found drugs in Maria’s locker, he immediately informed the athlete of his expulsion from the team.

5)Exert (verb)  (खींचना) -ex-urt
Meaning – to apply bodily or intellectual effort
Synonyms-  apply, employ, exercise.
Antonyms – flip , dismissive
Example – The doctor told me to not exert myself by lifting anything heavy.

6)On the horizon (phrase) (आसन्न) –
Meaning – imminent or just becoming apparent.
Synonyms- impending, in prospect/on the way.
Example -With the interview in some companies , I’ve got some job possibilities on the horizon.

7)Unanimously (adverb)  (सर्वसम्मति से) –   un-ani-mus-li
Meaning – without opposition; with the agreement of all people involved.
Synonyms – without opposition, agreed to by everyone involved.
Antonyms – contrastingly ,barely
Example –  A committee of MPs has unanimously agreed to back his bill.

8)Disarmament (noun) (निरस्त्रीकरण) –   dis-arma-ment
Meaning – taking up or giving away military weapons
Synonyms – demilitarization, deactivation
Antonyms – armament , build up , equipping
Example –  After winning the war, disarmament of enemy weapons was the group’s top mission.

9)Echo (verb)  (गूंज) –   e-co
Meaning -when a sound or noise is duplicated as a result of it bouncing off a surface
Synonyms -repeat, resound, restate,reiterate
Antonyms – silence , calmness
Example –  The house was so large and empty that I could speak in a normal voice and it would produce an echo.
