1681- महाराष्ट्र के रायगढ़ किले में क्षत्रपति शिवाजी के पुत्र संभाजी का भव्य राज्याभिषेक हुआ।
1761 – पांडेचेरी पर से अंग्रेज़ों ने फ़्राँसीसियों का अधिकार हटा दिया।
