-The Pakistani army successfully tested the capable mid-range missile Shahin-I (Hattaf-4) to carry nuclear weapons.
2009- The Central Government announces the Padma Shri and the Padma Bhushan.
2010 – Bombings in three mini buses in Iraq’s capital Baghdad have been targeted by hotels. At least 36 people were killed and 71 others injured.
2015 – Miss Colombia Polina Vega became Miss Universe of 2014.

2005 - महाराष्ट्र के सतारा स्थित एक देवी के मंदिर में भगदड़ मचने से 300 से अधिक मरे।
2006 – लिट्टे प्रमुख प्रभाकरन जिनेवा में वार्ता के लिए सहमत।
2008 –
-उत्तर प्रदेश की मुख्यमंत्री मायावती ने गंगा-एक्सप्रेस वे परियोजना को मंज़ूरी प्रदान की।
-सरकार ने 13 लोगों को वर्ष 2008 के प्रतिष्ठित नागरिक अलंकरण पद्म विभूषण से सम्मानित करने की घोषण की।
-पाकिस्तानी सेना ने परमाणु हथियार ले जाने में सक्षम मध्यम दूरी के प्रक्षेपास्त्र शाहीन-I (हत्फ़-4) का सफलतापूर्वक परीक्षण किया।
2009- केन्द्र सरकार ने पद्मश्री व पद्मभूषण पुरस्कारों की घोषणा की।
2010 – इराक की राजधानी बगदाद में तीन मिनी बसों में बम विस्फोट के जरिए होटलों को निशाना बनाया गया। इनमें कम से कम 36 व्यक्ति मारे गए और 71 अन्य घायल हो गए।
2015 – मिस कोलम्बिया पोलिना वेगा वर्ष 2014 की मिस यूनिवर्स बनीं।
