1790 – लार्ड कार्नवालिस ने आपराधिक मामलों में न्याय की ताकत मुशिर्दाबाद के नवाब से छीन कर अपने हाथ में कर ली और सदर निजामत अदालत को कोलकाता स्थानांतरित कर दिया।
1796 – बाजी राव द्वितीय को मराठा साम्राज्य का पेशवा बनाया गया। वे मराठा साम्राज्य के अंतिम पेशवा थे।
1824 – अंग्रेज़ों ने मद्रास और मुंबई से कुमुक मंगा कर फिर कित्तूर का किला घेर लिया।
