1. India is set to grow at 7.4 per cent this financial year, according to a report by Bank of America Merrill Lynch. The brokerage firm cut the growth forecast for FY16 to 7.4 per cent from its earlier prediction of 7.5 per cent. India grew at 7.3 per cent in 2014-15.
बैंक ऑफ अमेरिका मेरिल लिंच की एक रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, इस वित्त वर्ष में भारत की वृद्धि दर 7.4 प्रतिशत रहेगी। ब्रोकरेज फर्म ने वित्तीय वर्ष 2016 के विकास के पूर्वानुमान को 7.5 प्रतिशत के अपने पिछले अनुमान से घटाकर 7.4 फीसदी कर दिया है। भारत में 2014-15 में 7.3 प्रतिशत की वृद्धि हुई थी।
2. World Bank projected that remittances to India are expected to increase by 2.5 per cent this year, even as weak economies in Europe, especially Russia, are slowing the growth of remittance flows. In 2014, India is estimated to have received remittances worth USD 70.3 billion or nearly Rs. 4.5 lakh crore.
विश्व बैंक का अुनमान है कि विदेशों में रह रहे भारतीयों की ओर से भारत भेज जाने वाले धन में वर्ष 2015 में 2.5 प्रतिशत की वृद्धि की संभावना है जबकि यूरोप, विशेष तौर पर रूस की अर्थव्यवस्था की कमजोरी से इस प्रकार के धन के प्रवाह धीमा हो रहा है। भारत में रेमिटन्स (मनीआर्डर) के जरिए 2014 में 70.3 अरब डालर या लगभग 4.5 लाख करोड़ के बराबर धन आया था।
3. Britain has signed a landmark nuclear deal with China to build the United Kingdom’s first nuclear power plant since the 1980’s. The landmark deal was signed in London during the official visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping. Under this deal, nuclear power plant will be built at Hinkley Point, Somerset near London with total planned investment of 18 billion pound.
ब्रिटेन ने चीन के साथ एक ऐतिहासिक परमाणु करार किया, जिसके तहत चीन वर्ष 1980 के दशक के बाद ब्रिटेन के पहले परमाणु ऊर्जा संयंत्र का निर्माण करेगा। ब्रिटेन ने चीन के राष्ट्रपति शी जिंगपिंग की ब्रिटेन यात्रा के दौरान यह ऐतिहासिक परमाणु करार किया। इस करार के तहत परमाणु ऊर्जा संयंत्र 18 अरब पाउंड के कुल योजित निवेश के साथ लंदन के पास हिंकले प्वाइंट, समरसेट पर बनाया जाएगा।
4. Dr. Sekhar Basu took the charge as Chairman, Atomic Energy Commission and Secretary, Department of Atomic Energy in Mumbai. He succeeded Dr. Ratan Kumar Sinha.
डॉ. शेखर बसु ने परमाणु ऊर्जा आयोग के अध्यक्ष और मुंबई में परमाणु ऊर्जा विभाग के सचिव का पदभार संभाल लिया है। उन्होंने डॉ. रतन कुमार सिन्हा का स्थान लिया है।
5. Japan has offered $15 billion loan to India, at an interest rate of less than 1 percent, for country’s first bullet-train network. India’s first bullet-train network has been proposed to be established between Mumbai and Ahmedabad.
जापान ने देश के पहले बुलेट ट्रेन नेटवर्क के लिए भारत को एक फीसदी से भी कम की ब्याज दर पर 15 बिलियन का ऋण देने का प्रस्ताव किया है। भारत का पहला बुलेट ट्रेन नेटवर्क मुंबई और अहमदाबाद के बीच स्थापित किया जाना प्रस्तावित है।
6. The Department of Heavy Industry, in active consultation with industry associations & bodies has drafted a National Policy on Capital Goods. This is the first time that a policy on Capital Goods is being framed. This is the most critical sector for achieving the vision of “Make in India” as the sector has multiplier effect on other sectors of economy. This National Policy on Capital Goods is envisaged to unlock the potential for this promising sector and establish India as a global manufacturing powerhouse.
भारी उद्योग विभाग ने उद्योग संघों और संकायों के साथ सक्रिय परामर्श से पूंजीगत वस्‍तुओं के बारे में राष्‍ट्रीय नीति का मसौदा तैयार किया है। यह पहला अवसर है कि पूंजीगत वस्‍तुओं के बारे में नीति तैयार की जा रही है। ‘मेक इन इंडिया’ विजन को अर्जित करने के लिए यह सबसे महत्‍वपूर्ण क्षेत्र है, क्‍योंकि इस क्षेत्र का अर्थव्‍यवस्‍था के अन्‍य क्षेत्रों पर कई गुणा प्रभाव पड़ता है। पूंजीगत वस्‍तुओं पर राष्‍ट्रीय नीति से इस महत्‍वपूर्ण क्षेत्र में संभावनाएं बढ़ेंगी और भारत एक वैश्‍विक विनिर्माण शक्‍ति के रूप में स्‍थापित होंगी।
7. Two mountaineers Arjun Vajpai and Bhupesh Kumar created history by becoming first people to climb 6180 meter high unnamed peak in Himachal’s Spiti Valley. The duo named the peak as Mount Kalam, in honour of former President of India, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam. Newly named Mt. Kalam is located near Bara Shigri Glacier, largest glacier located in Himachal Pradesh.
भारत के दो पर्वतारोहियों अर्जुन वाजपेयी तथा भुपेश कुमार ने हिमाचल की स्पीती घाटी में 6180 मीटर उंचे एक अनाम पर्वत पर चढ़ाई करके इतिहास रचा। इन दोनों पर्वतारोहियों ने इस पर्वत का नाम भारत के पूर्व राष्ट्रपति डॉ. ए.पी.जे. अब्दुल कलाम के सम्मान में माउंट कलाम रखा। माउंट कलाम बड़ा-शिगरी ग्लेशियर के नजदीक स्थित है। यह हिमाचल प्रदेश का सबसे बड़ा ग्लेशियर है।
8. The government approved a proposal for maritime transport agreement between India and Egypt. Recognising the significant mutual benefit that can be derived from cooperation in shipping between the two countries, it has been decided to sign the agreement.
सरकार ने भारत और मिस्र के बीच समुद्री परिवहन के क्षेत्र में सहयोग के समझौते के प्रस्ताव को मंजूरी दी। दोनों देशों को पोत परिवहन के क्षेत्र में सहयोग से होने वाले लाभ को देखते हुए समझौते पर हस्ताक्षर करने का निर्णय किया गया है।
9. Manipur’s football team defeated Odisha to win Under-18 Girls Junior National Football Championship.
मणिपुर की फुटबॉल टीम ने ओड़िशा को हराकर लड़कियों की अंडर 18 जूनियर राष्ट्रीय फुटबॉल चैम्पियनशिप का खिताब जीत लिया।
10. Russia announced that it will permanently station a military unit in the Arctic by 2018. The defence minister of Russia Sergey Shoygu also announced that Russia is building several new bases in the Arctic as well as rebuilding six Soviet-era air bases in the Arctic.
रूस ने घोषणा की कि 2018 तक आर्कटिक में स्थायी रूप से सैन्य इकाई स्टेशन की स्थापना की जायगी। रूस के रक्षा मंत्री सेर्गेई सोयगु ने छह सोवियत युगीन हवाई अड्डों के पुनर्निर्माण के साथ साथ आर्कटिक में अनेक नए ठिकानों के निर्माण की घोषणा की।
