1767 – किंग ताकसिन थाईलैंड के राजा बने तथा उन्होंने थोनबुरी को अपनी राजधानी बनाया।
1836 – स्पेन ने मेक्सिको की स्वतंत्रता को मान्यता दी।
1885 – भारतीय राष्ट्रीय कांग्रेस का पहला अधिवेशन बंबई में हुआ ,जिसमें 72 प्रतिनिधि शामिल हुए।
