1788 – पिट्स रेग्यूलेट्री एक्ट पारित किया गया।
1921 – जार्जिया की राजधानी तिब्लिसी पर रूस ने कब्जा किया।
1925 – जापान और पूर्व सोवियत संघ के बीच राजनयिक रिश्ते कायम हुये।
1945 – द्वितीय विश्व युद्ध में तुर्की ने जर्मनी के ख़िलाफ़ युद्ध की घोषणा की।
1952 – नार्वे की राजधानी ओस्लो में छठे शीतकालीन ओलंपिक खेलों का समापन हुआ।
1962 – आम चुनाव में कांग्रेस पार्टी की जीत हुई।
