* Government approved a new policy for allocation of future coal linkages in a transparent manner for power sector consumers
* It is an important initiative in alleviating one key challenge in power sector, viz. lack of coal linkage and is expected to positively contribute in resolution of a number of stressed assets.

➡ Inner Line Permit (ILP)
It is an official travel document issued by the Government of India to allow inward travel of an Indian citizen into a protected/restricted area for a limited period. Inner Line Permit is required for Indian citizens to enter Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland and Mizoram. Inner Line Permit is issued under the Bengal Eastern Frontier Regulation.
