The Asia Pacific Summit 2018 began on December 1, 2018 in Kathmandu, Nepal. The Summit will continue till December 3, 2018.
Theme of Asia Pacific Summit 2018 The Theme of two-day Summit is “Addressing the Critical Challenges of Our Time: Interdependence, Mutual Prosperity, and Universal Values”.
The Summit, organised by the South Korea-based Universal Peace Federation and supported by the Nepal Government, will be attended by the leaders from the Asia-Pacific region including India, Cambodia, Myanmar, Malaysia, Pakistan and Philippines. Around 1500 participants from 45 countries are attending the summit. They will discuss various global issues, including peace, development, good governance and role of parliamentarians, climate change and role of media.
